Surprise in Chile

After the October 28 municipal elections in Chile, the close results shown by manual voting and counting kept who was the mayor of Ñuñoa in the dark. It was only last Tuesday, that is 16 days after the voting, that the issue was resolved; surprisingly, the granddaughter of the late President Salvador Allende, Maya Fernández, who was ahead in earlier counts, lost by 30 votes against the incumbent Pedro Sabat.
