Vote receipts could gain political ground

One of the main objections to e-voting has been the fact that many countries persist in automating but haven’t worked as vigorously on the implementation of a technology that allows to advance not only their electoral platform, but also offers all the electoral guarantees demanded by the right to suffrage, as well as by law and ethical principles. The Indian Electoral Commission announced that its system will include the issuing of a printed voting receipt to guarantee citizen audits.
